Yangon/Putao/Myitkyina/Yangon ( 6 days)
Putao is another town that one can start point for Myanmar’s most adventures trekking adventures. The town is surrounded by snow-peaked mountains and it is cool the whole year round. It is the nearest town to the base camp for climbing Mt.Khakhaborazi (5889 metres), which is the highest mountain in Southeast Asia. Visitors will have the golden opportunity for overnight rafting expeditions on the headwaters of the Ayeyarwaddy River to the north of Putao.
Day 01
Yangon to Putao by Myanma Airways flight. Arrive at Puato, the northern most of Myanmar, (the town in Kachin State surrounded by the mountains). After Check in, visit to the Panhlaing Village, where the Khamti Shan tribes live. Overnight at Khakaborazi Guest House.
Day 02
After breakfast, drive to Htawadan Village by car and cross the Malikha river by canoe boat to visit to the Kaungmulon Pagoda (which was built in 16 century Architecture style and only one ancient Pagoda in that area) After Lunch, (lunch will be in packing) small track to Namkhan village (to see the ways of life of Rawung tribes) Overnight at Namkhan Village.
Day 03
After breakfast, trekking to Machanbaw. (Where to see the natural market, and different spices of plants, flowers and scenic view from the high bank of Malikha River)
Overnight at Gu Bar Guest House in Machanbaw .
Day 04
After breakfast, drive to Mularshidi Village by car. To see the ways of life of Lisu tribes and beautiful suspension bridge of Mularshidi and drive back to Putao. Overnight at Khakaborazi Guest House.
Day 05
Visit the central market of Putao. (Which is the early morning market known as vegetables market, then have the breakfast and transfer to Airport for fly back to Yangon by Myanma Airways flight and transfer to Hotel.
Day 06
Fly back to Yangon by Myanma Airways flight. Arrive at Yangon and transfer to Hotel.
